Chazzy Green - Sax / Flute / Singer / Entertainer

Reeds een bijzonder indrukwekkende carriere.... Chazzy Green... is the name...!

Detroit born Charles “Chazzy" Green, initially received classical training in CLARINET and FLUTE.

However, something deep inside beckoned to his spirit. Later he switched to ALTO and TENOR SAXOPHONES and began to explore blues, rock, jazz and fusion. He attended Howard University to study music. Chazzy's musical influences included Sonny Stitt, Cannonball Adderley and Eddie Harris on saxophone, as well as Earth Wind and Fire , Kool and The Gang , Ohio Players and Jimi Hendrix.

Having established his rich musical past and armed with a #2 hit (“I Just Can’t Control Myself”) as a member of the group Nature's Divine , Chazzy left Howard and headed for Los Angeles, where he started to work with Ray Parker Jr. and contributed in 1982 to the Golden hit “The Other Woman” and in 1984 to the Platinum hit “Ghostbusters”. He also performed in 1994 on the hit of Montell Jordan “This Is How We Do It” (Platinum), in 1998 DJ Quik “Rhythm-al-ism” (Gold) and in 1999 Macy Gray “On How Life is” (Multi-Platinum).

Chazzy Green is also a great entertainer. Whenever he will be on your stage, place is gonna be wild...
